State Of World Population Report 2023

News: India will surpass China as the world’s most populated nation this year, according to the UN Population Fund’s (UNFPA) newly issued State of World Population report.

In comparison to the global average of 2.3 births per woman, India’s total fertility rate, or births per woman, was calculated at 2.

Male Indians were predicted to live to an average age of 71, and females to an average age of 74.

Concerning statistics regarding gender rights in India were also presented in the report.

11 adolescents were born for every 1,000 girls aged 15 to 19, and 23% of girls were married off before turning 18.
