TeLEOS-2 : ISRO

News: Soon, the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch Singapore’s TeLEOS-2 satellite from Sriharikota’s Satish Dhawan Space Centre.

The ST Electronics (Satellite Systems) company created the Singaporean Earth observation satellite TeLEOS-2.

It is made to take satellite images in all kinds of weather and at all times.

A Low Earth Orbit will be used to launch the 750 kilogramme satellite.

It is equipped with a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) built in Singapore, which can provide data with a resolution of 1 m.

It will have a high-speed 800 Mbps downlink and a 500 GB onboard recorder for storing the data that is collected.

For a variety of uses, including disaster management, resource monitoring, and environmental monitoring, it will deliver high-resolution imagery.

PSLV, or the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle:

It is an ISRO expendable launch system that was built domestically.

It belongs to the class of medium-lift launchers and has a range of orbits that it may reach, such as the Geo Synchronous Transfer Orbit, the Lower Earth Orbit, and the Polar Sun Synchronous Orbit.

Its four-stage design consists of rocket stages powered by both solid and liquid fuel.
