India’s HighCommission in Bangladesh unveils Subarno Jayanti-ICCR Scholarship Program

News: The Subarno Jayanti Scholarship Scheme and Lata Mangeshkar Dance and Music Scholarship Program deadlines for the 2023–24 academic year have been made public by the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh.

 

  • The Subarno Jayanti Scholarship Scheme (ICCR Scholarship) and Lata Mangeshkar Dance and Music Scholarship Program timetables for the academic year 2023–2024 have been released by the High Commission of India in Bangladesh.
  • Deserving Bangladeshi students who want to pursue undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degrees at Indian universities and institutions are eligible for this programme.

 

Eligibility requirements

 

  • Age: For undergraduate and graduate programmes, applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of admission and cannot be older than 30. The maximum age for PhD candidates is 45 years old.
  • All study fields—aside from medicine, paramedicine, fashion, law courses, and integrated courses like BALLB—are acceptable.
  • English Language Proficiency: To assess English language proficiency, a 500-word essay in the language has been implemented. Students may also submit their TOEFL/IELTS or other standardised test results.
  • Campus Hostel: If one is available, after acceptance, students must reside there. No justification is given for any exemptions.
  • Application Options: Applicants may choose to submit applications to five of their top-choice universities or institutions. colleges or universities
