8th Governing Council Meeting Of NITI Aayog

News: The seventh Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog will be presided over by the Prime Minister of India.

“Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Role of Team India” will be the meeting’s subject.

Eight major topics will be covered during the summit, including Gati Shakti for community development and social infrastructure, MSMEs, infrastructure and investments, minimising compliances, women’s empowerment, health and nutrition, and skill development. Viksit Bharat@2047 will also be discussed.

The Prime Minister of India, the Chief Ministers of all States and Union Territories having Legislative bodies, the Lieutenant Governors of other UTs, Ex-Officio Members, the Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, Full-Time Members, Special Invitees, were present.

The Cabinet Secretariat announced its reconstitution in February 2021.

With the active participation of States, it is the leading body responsible with creating a shared vision of national objectives and policies and moulding the development story.
