About the Soubhagya S. Beelagimath State Toper:
- Soubhagya S. Beelagimath secured the top position in Karnataka with an All India Rank (AIR) of 101.
- She is an agriculture science graduate from Davangere and cleared the exam in her second attempt without coaching.
- Despite the possibility of an Indian Police Service posting, her aspiration is to become an Indian Administrative Service officer.
- Other Notable Achievements:
- Nagendra Babu Kumar secured AIR 160.
- Sanskriti Singh, daughter of senior IAS officer Rakesh Singh, achieved an AIR of 366.
- Yashswini R., daughter of Pramila from the Rural Development Department, secured AIR 379.
- T. Meghna, visually challenged and currently an Indian Information Service officer, secured AIR 721.
- Exam Results and Future Plans:
- The Union Public Service Commission announced the results, recommending a total of 1,016 candidates for appointment.
- Soubhagya plans to take the exam again to improve her ranking and is also awaiting the Indian Forest Service mains examination results.
